Semana 54 / Week 54 ( April, 28 expiration date )

Al final tenia que venir una primera operación mala , y tenía que ser esta.

Excelente prima ingresada , excelente rango , excelente pico de volatilidad , ...... operación fallida. 

Podiamos haber cerrado el lunes con buenos beneficios, pero no teniamos aun consolidado el 50% de la prima ingresada, preferimos ser disciplinados y seguir el sistema; porque si hubiera salido bien en operaciones como esta se gana muchisimo dinero.

Finally, a bad first operation had to come up, and so It happened...

Excellent cashed premium , excellent range, excellent peak of volatility, ...... failed operation.

We could have closed on Monday with a reasonable profit, though we had not yet consolidated 50% of the premium, so that I prefered to be disciplined and follow the system; because in trades like this , is where you get a plus in your track record. We move down from 4 to 3 contracts for next week, considering our money management rules.

Semana 53 / Week 53 ( April, 7 expiration date )

Aunque el precio apenas se movió, la volatilidad se incrementó mas de 1 punto y recortó bastante el potencial beneficio. Nueva semana ganadora ! Esto es un concepto muy interesante para las opciones, la volatilidad puede subir y el precio no moverse.

Although the price hardly moved, the volatility increased by more than 1 point and cut the potential profit significantly. New winning week ! This is a very interesting concept for the options, the volatility can rise although the price does not move.

Casi nos cazan, movimiento bajista ayer martes con fuerte incremento de la volatilidad, por lo que anticipamos el cierre una hora despues de haber abierto el mercado. Ufff.......

We were almost hunted, bearish movement yesterday with a strong increase in volatility, so we anticipated the closing of the trade, just one hour after the market opened. Uffffff.......

Semana 51 / Week 51 ( March 3 , expiration date)

Sufriendo en el cierre del Lunes, pero una imagen vale mas que mil palabras. 11 semanas seguidas ganadoras.!! En el aspecto negativo, como se ve en el gráfico la volatilidad subió , y perjudicó nuestros intereses, reduciendo potenciales ganancias.

Suffering at the close of Monday, but a pic is worth a thousand words. 11 consecutive winning weeks.!! On the negative side, as you can check in the chart, volatility rose dangerously, and it hurt our interests, reducing potential profits.

Semana 50 / Week 50 ( Feb, 24 expiration date )

Semana mas corta de lo habitual, abrimos miercoles ( un dia antes de lo normal ) y cerramos viernes , ya que el Lunes es festivo en USA . No queremos estar expuestos 3 dias sin mercado. Nueva semana ganadora, y ya van 10 seguidas !

Week shorter than usual, We opened the trade last Wednesday (a day earlier than normal) and closed on Friday, because Monday is a holiday   in the USA ( President's Day), and We don't want to be exposed to the market for three days off. New winning week,...this means ten weeks in a row!

Nueva semana ganadora , sigue la calma en los mercados con una volatilidad baja , pronto debe venir un movimiento brusco con alguna semana perdedora , tras nueve trades consecutivos ganadores.

Otra nueva semana ganadora aprovechando la tranquilidad del mercado y el repunte en la volatilidad que hubo el jueves, en la apertura de la posicion. Hoy probablemente abramos una nueva posición.
